State Charges Dropped for Convicted Drug Trafficker

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): State charges have been dropped against a Fort Wayne man who's convicted of federal firearm and drug charges.

According to the Journal Gazette, Allen County Prosecutors dismissed the state-level charges against Barry Bays, who was charged in April of 2013 with unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of marijuana or synthetic marijuana.

In Texas, Bays was indicted last July by a federal grand jury. There, Bays and his brother were accused of trafficking synthetic drugs.
