Driver in Serious Condition after Trying to Avoid Spun Out Vehicle

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): A woman is in serious condition after she tried to avoid a vehicle, that lost control and spun out into her path, while she was driving on I-69.

According to our partners in news at 21 Alive, 34-year-old Kahleen Bryan of Angola was traveling northbound on I-69 around 3:45 a.m., Sunday. That’s when the vehicle traveling ahead of her, driven by 27-year-old Jabbar Singh, hit a guardrail near the 328.5-mile maker and spun out into the path of Bryan.  Bryan swerved to avoid the out of control vehicle, but her car went off the roadway and landed in a ditch.

Singh suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. Bryan was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for head and rib injuries. She was last reported to be in serious, but stable condition.
