EACS Agrees on New Budget

At last night’s school board, the 84 million dollar budget for 2013 received the thumbs up from all of the school board members. By the way, the 84 million is about 2% less than it was last year. When putting the budget together, it was discovered they were going to be short about 3.5 million dollars, and instead of asking for a tax increase, they choose to use their cash reserves to pay for the difference.
