EACS Board Considers Testing Students for Performance-Enhancing Drugs

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): The East Allen County Schools board is now considering testing students for performance-enhancing drugs. They're the latest type of drugs included on the board's random test list, that according to The Journal Gazette. The proposed drug testing would be for students participating in co-curricular and extracurricular activities, and those who drive to school. Alcohol, amphetamines, and cocaine are some of the other drugs already on the testing list. A vote is scheduled for June 16.
