Early Morning Crash Involving A Pedestrian Remains Under Investigation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — Fort Wayne Police were called to Coliseum Boulevard between Goshen and Hillegas Roads just after 7-30 this morning after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.

Responding officers found a woman who was hit as she attempted to cross Coliseum Boulevard.

The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and is cooperating with police who say that the incident appears to be an accident and that neither speed nor alcohol was a factor.

The victim was transported in critical condition.
