Education Roundtable Director Joining Ivy Tech

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) _ Ivy Tech State College is hiring the executive director of the Indiana Education Roundtable for a new position as the school's Hamilton County president.

Ivy Tech announced Monday that Dan Clark will focus on community outreach and manage day-to-day operations at the Noblesville campus. He will report to Ivy Tech's central Indiana chancellor.

Clark is a former deputy director and lobbyist for the Indiana State Teachers Association. He was named in 2010 as executive director of the education roundtable, an advisory group made up largely of education and business representatives.

The announcement of Clark's new job comes after Ivy Tech said last week that Alex Huskey was leaving his job as chairman of the Indiana Alcohol and Tobacco Commission to become president of the school's Marion campus.
