GARY, Ind. (AP) _ Authorities say a 94-year-old man and his son were found dead after a fire at a home in Gary.
 
Gary police Lt. Dawn Westerfield says 94-year-old John Berry and 47-year-old Darrick Berry were found dead inside the home Thursday morning after the fire was extinguished.
 
According to the Lake County coroner, the manner and cause of the men's deaths are being investigated. The coroner said in a news release that the men suffered severe burns and smoke inhalation.
 
The Munster Times (http://bit.ly/1Kp2osu ) reports Westerfield says the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
