FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A butcher’s shop on the far north side of Fort Wayne suffered heavy damage from a fire Wednesday night.

The Fort Wayne Fire Department was called to Custom Quality Meats at 3227 Carroll Road at 9:17pm for a fire that started in the building’s attic and ended up sending flames shooting through the roof.

It took almost two-and-a-half hours to bring the blaze under control. Nobody was injured, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
