Fort Wayne bike share station opens at Indiana Tech

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): There is a new bike share station in town.

Indiana Tech President Dr. Arthur Snyder and Mayor Tom Henry were joined by Tech students for a ribbon cutting to officially open the new bike share station at Indiana Tech, according to the city of Fort Wayne.

The new station that is located on the north side of Andorfer Common on campus is the sixth station in Fort Wayne.

The other stations are at the Arts Campus, Wayne and Calhoun, St. Francis, the Grand Wayne Center and at the Citilink Station. The city launched the bike share program in April.

People wanting to ride can purchase a day pass, a monthly pass or an annual membership. Rides for members are free for the first hour and $3 per hour after that. Monthly memberships can be purchases for $15 and annual memberships are $60. Memberships can be purchased online.
