Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo Adding Two New Tigers

The Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo will soon be home to two new Sumatran tigers. Zoo officials say the tiger they currently have will be switching zoos for mating purposes, but they’re gaining a brother and sister pair from a zoo in Texas. Unlike the cats they’ve had in the past that were more timid and liked to hide out in the exhibit, the two new additions are very playful which means a better experience for zoo-goers. The staff says the duo will arrive in time for the zoo’s opening day on April 20th.
