FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A body was discovered yesterday in the St. Joseph River between St. Joe Center Road and Coliseum Boulevard.

According to our partners in news at 21alive, a kayaker discovered badly decomposed body near Canterbury Green Apartments near the 2800 block of St. Joe Center Rd. just off of Old Dover Boulevard where it was caught in a log jam

Two water rescue rafts and four fire crews searched the river and surrounding area for further evidence into the person’s death.

The body has not yet been identified by the coroner.
