Fort Wayne Icon Passes Away

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): WOWO is sad to learn that Fort Wayne philanthropist and businessman, Dick Freeland, passed away yesterday. He's best known for his affiliation with Fort Wayne Pizza Hut Inc., and served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. This year, he was awarded Sagamore of the Wabash by Governor Mike Pence. We'll keep you updated as we learn more, including funeral arrangements.
