FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man was formally charged with multiple counts of child molestation on Monday in Allen Superior Court.

26-year-old Mark Teeter is accused of performing sex acts on two children, including a child who is only 2 years old. According to The Journal Gazette, Teeter was charged with felony counts of child molestation, including performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor.

One of the victims is an 8-year-old girl, who came forward to police about Teeter touching her when she was just 5 years old. She also told police she saw Teeter commit a sex act on the 2-year-old child.

Teeter admitted to the crimes and was arrested last week on preliminary charges, which were dismissed on Monday when formal charges were filed.
