Lutheran Hospital Launches ‘Kids dart. Drive smart.’ Campaign

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Lutheran Hospital is raising safety awareness with their “Kids dart. Drive smart.” campaign. The hospital is welcoming the public to pick up a free yard sign to promote child pedestrian safety Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fairfield Elementary. June is one of the months with the highest pedestrian injury and death rates, and Lutheran Hospital officials say reminding walkers and drivers to stay alert and eliminate distractions is one way to encourage safety.
