ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A suspect in a 2015 murder has been formally charged, according to our partners in news at ABC 21.
22-year-old Xavier Miller appeared in court on Tuesday for an initial hearing.
During the hearing, he was formally charged with murder and robbery with the use of a firearm enhancement.
According to court documents, Miller lured Porter Billians to a vacant house and shot him in 2015.
The home was located in the 6200 block of Kent Road just off of US 27.
Miller pled not guilty and asked for a public defender Tuesday.
A trial has been set for August 2.
An Omnibus hearing is set for September 11.
Miller is being held without bond.
