Fort Wayne Man Gets Three Decades In Prison

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO) — A Fort Wayne man, Detric L. Cummings, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison on drug and weapons charges.

Cummings pleaded guilty to drug distribution and was convicted of armed drug trafficking and firearms possession.

He sold meth, cocaine, and fentanyl to an undercover officer while armed.

Authorities say he has a violent criminal record, including attempted robbery and prior shootings.
