FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): In an effort to keep the Summit City moving, 24-hour plowing and salting has been underway.  Street Department crews have been concentrating on main arterial roads and connector streets to keep them as clear as possible for emergency vehicles.

Plowing operations will move into neighborhoods streets around 7:00 a.m., Monday morning.  It will take 24-36 hours to complete the more than 400 neighborhoods in the City of Fort Wayne.

Residents who have an option for off-street parking should use that option to help crews get closer to the curb.
