FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): One man is dead and another is in serious condition after a Sunday morning shooting.

Shots were fired in the 3200 block of Diplomat Drive near Hessen Cassel Road Sunday morning. Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department arrived to the scene around 5:30 a.m., that according to our partners in news at ABC 21.  

Once there, officers located two men suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the parking lot. One man was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. The other man was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition.

Investigators say neighbors heard several gunshots coming from outside before officers arrived at the scene. Meanwhile, an investigation is underway.
