Fort Wayne Police Find Nothing After Report of Shots Fired

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): A report of gunfire in Fort Wayne yielded nothing for police Thursday afternoon.

There were reports of gunshots from a home on Gaywood Drive a couple of blocks south of Weisser Park at around 4pm. Police blocked off the area, figured out where the shots probably came from, and used a loudspeaker to try to talk with anyone inside the home in question in the 3500 block of Gaywood, eventually going inside and finding it empty.

Officers cleared the scene about 90 minutes after they arrived.
