FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): New lighting is being installed for the Fort Wayne TinCaps  and their fans, when crowds gather to watch games this summer at Parkview Field.

According to our Partners in news at 21Alive, new lightbulbs are currently being installed at the ballpark.

The lights are brighter than the typical 100 bulbs and require a 100-hour initial burn so they can shine much better on the field.

Opening day is next Sunday, April 12th.
