FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne police are investigating a shooting that happened near Indiana Tech Tuesday night.

Officers were called at around 8pm to the intersection of Anthony Blvd and Maumee Avenue. Our partners in news at 21Alive report they found a victim who had been shot in the arm and had to be hospitalized. That person is in serious condition at a local hospital.

Police say initial witness reports placed the shooting at the intersection of Lewis and Hanna streets.
