FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO):  More than a thousand customers are without power on the north end of Fort Wayne.

Michael DeFreeuw with Northeast RENC tells WOWO News that due to an issue at a Dupont substation, around 1,200 are in the dark.  This effects areas near Dupont Rd. near Lima Rd., as well as areas to the north in Huntertown.

As of 3:29 p.m. Tuesday, most of the power has been restored.
