Fort Wayne-South Bend Roman Catholic Diocese Talks Gay Marriage

FORT WAYNE Ind. (WOWO): Last week, the University of Notre Dame announced it would extend benefits to same sex spouses, and this week, the Fort Wayne-South Bend Roman Catholic Diocese said they wish they would have looked at the issue more closely.

Bishop Kevin Rhoades says redefining marriage poses major challenges to the church they've been worried about the issue for quite some time.

In Fort Wayne, the University of Saint Francis has not made any decisions regarding benefits to same-sex couples.
