Fremont Teachers Facing Possible Layoffs

FREMONT, Ind. (WOWO) – Fort Wayne police officer Treven Brown has received praise from the city’s top brass for his quick action in the face of a threat from an armed suspect.  More details are emerging about the shooting and scuffle between Brown and 33-year-old Daniel Spells who’s accused of attempting to fire shots at the officer last Friday evening.  Fort Wayne Police Chief Rusty York commended Brown for his quick action without even drawing his own weapon.
