Friday Afternoon Jay County Tornado Rated an EF-2

JAY COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO):  The National Weather Service has issued a report that a tornado that caused heavy damage on Friday afternoon has been rated an EF-2 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale.

The announcement came late Saturday afternoon which followed a visit to the damaged area by weather experts and a review of material provided by various media outlets, including our partners in news at ABC21, and others who recorded the storm and its aftermath.
