FW Man Ordered to Repay $2.2 Million to Scheme Victims

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): A Fort Wayne man has been ordered to repay $2.2 million dollars to investors he defrauded in a Ponzi scheme.  Secretary of State Connie Lawson said Bradley Collins [quote] “worked under the guise of a religious man.” She said the character Collins portrayed put many of his victims at ease, increasing the amount of money they invested.  In all, 129 victims have been identified so far, 59 of those in Allen County.  Collins pleaded guilty and was sentenced to eight years for his crimes, with two years behind bars and the rest on probation.
