FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne Police were called to Bayview Drive, near Heatherwind Drive last night shortly after 11:00 P.M. in reference to a suicidal person. When they got to the scene, they made contact with the 27-year-old man, who refused to exit his apartment. Emergency services were dispatched, and once they got there, they made contact with the man by phone, and at around 2:20 A.M., they successfully ended the standoff. The man was taken to a local hospital to undergo a psychological evaluation.
