FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): You can register your child for the upcoming school year at Fort Wayne Community Schools this Friday.

Registration for the 2015-16 school year will take place Friday and Monday at all 49 FWCS schools. Hours on Friday are 8 AM until 1 PM and for Monday, it's noon until 7 PM. 

Registration is taking place a little earlier than normal this year because the district is starting a week earlier than normal on August 11th. 

All registrations need to take place at the school the student will attend. Parents will need to bring a photo ID and two documents showing proof of residency to registration.
