FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Multiple properties have been damaged from gunshots in the Fort Wayne area.

On Thursday, police responded to a number of calls regarding shots that were fired at homes and parked cars.

One of those streets was E. Dewald Street where police discovered shell casings, along with bullet holes in parked cars and local houses.

This week, similar incidents have occurred in the area of Lafayette and Creighton, as well as Calhoun Street. The shooters targete cars, houses, and apartment buildings with what police believe to be assault rifle style weapons.
