Gary Police Investigating Shooting Deaths of 2 Men

GARY, Ind. (AP): Gary police are investigating the shooting deaths of two young men, at least one of them a teenager, found when officers responded to reports of shots fired.
 
       Gary Police Cpl. Gabrielle King tells the Post Tribune of Merrillville and The Times of Munster the two men were dead when police arrived about 1:30 a.m. Thursday. King says there was a gathering of people before the shooting, but she didn't have additional details.
 
       The Lake County coroner's office says one victim was 17 years old. The age of the second victim wasn't immediately known.
