FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Fort Wayne’s business and economic development engine has unveiled their plan for the next decade.

Greater Fort Wayne Inc. released their plan Thursday, detailing about $650-million in projects in and near the downtown area, according to the News-Sentinel. Such projects include a new downtown arena by 2018, redeveloping The Landing, redeveloping the former General Electric campus, and work on the North Riverfront project.

They also announced plans for STEAM Park, a new park near Science Central that would include aquariums, concert space, and attractions focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and math.

CEO Eric Doden says private investments could amount to up to 10 times the cost of each project.
