MIDWEST, (WOWO) — The cost of a haircut has gone up about 75 percent in the last two decades, according to WalletHub.

In their new report of spending on hair care in all 50 states, Michigan finished fifth, Ohio came in 29th while Indiana was 45th.

Michiganders spend roughly 1.46 percent of their income on their hair, residents of the Buckeye State split the difference at 1.17 and Hoosiers spend just 1.04 percent.

The highest percentage is spent in Arkansas, the lowest in New Jersey.
