Harlan Bank Robbery Suspects Charged

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Federal charges have been filed against five area men for their role in an Allen County bank robbery.

The US Attorney's Office in Fort Wayne announced a Grand Jury has returned indictments against the men. Last September, they attempted to hold up the IAB Financial Bank in Harlan.

The would-be robbery happened while an FBI task force was in the neighbor for a separate case and watched much of the operation take place. 


Gregg Bauserman, II, 24, of St. Joe; Andrew Wood, 20, of Leo; Justin Richardson, 24, of Fort Wayne; Drew Cagnet, 20, of Fort Wayne and Keith Perkins, 25, of Fort Wayne, Indiana with armed bank robbery.

Wood, Perkins and Bauserman, II are also charged in a separate count with using, carrying, brandishing and discharging a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence 

The men were captured later that day.  There of the men face federal firearms charges.

Perkins is also charged in a with armed bank robbery at that same bank in July.
