Hartford City Man Injured in Grant County Crash

GRANT COUNTY, Ind (WOWO): This afternoon, around 12:30 p.m., Indiana State Police got a call to a single vehicle crash on I-69 near the 264 mile marker, in which a Hartford City man was injured. 

According to police, 40-year-old Michael Lehman was driving his motorcycle on southbound I-69 near the 264 mile marker. He went to pass a line of traffic when he drove onto the median rumple strips. Lehman lost control of the motorcycle and was ejected from the bike.

Lehman was flown by helicopter to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.

As of right now, this is an ongoing investigation, but at this time neither the use of alcohol nor narcotics are suspected as having contributed to this crash.
