FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Just before 4 p.m. Wednesday, Fort Wayne fire crews responded to a house fire on Brookside Street. The blaze was under control in less than 10 minutes, but caused heavy smoke, fire, and water damage to the residence. No one was home at the time the fire was reported, and the cause is still under investigation.
