HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. — A crash on US 24 killed 29-year-old Briar M. Strle of Huntington, Indiana, on Friday.

The Huntington County Coroner’s office said Strle died from blunt force trauma.

Investigators said Strle failed to notice a slowing semi-truck, collided with it, and went off the road while trying to avoid the vehicle.

Officials pronounced him dead at the scene and ruled the death accidental.
