INDIANA, Ind. (WOWO) — The Indiana Sheriff’s Association has been awarded a half-million dollar grant for a statewide training and wellness program from the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.

Adams County Sheriff Dan Mawhorr says the grant will enable the I-S-A to continue training through the Magnus Works platform.

The program focuses on officer physical and mental wellness – especially over the long term.

Officials say the program enhances the wellbeing and performance of law enforcement officers helping them to live healthier and more resilient lives.
