Huq Enters Guilty Plea for 1989 Death

ANGOLA, Ind. (WOWO): A case that's been open for nearly 25 years is close to its end.

In Steuben County Mahfuz Huq has pleaded guilty to a charge of voluntary manslaughter.

In August of 1989, Huq was accused of stabbing Todd Kelley in Hamilton.

Sentencing has been scheduled for April. He could serve has much as 40 years.

Huq was an international fugitive for more 20 years.
