I-469 Resurfacing Set to Begin Aug 29th

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana Department of Transportation says resurface work of bridge approaches in Allen County will begin on Interstate 469 between U.S. 30 and S.R. 37 on Saturday, Aug. 29, weather permitting.

During this project, I-469 will be reduced to one 12-foot lane in each direction on bridges over U.S. 30; Dawkins Road; the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks; and the Maumee River.

The project, which included the resurfacing of S.R. 1/Bluffton Road ramps to I-469, was awarded to Brooks Construction Company for $225,000. Work is expected to be completed by late September.
