Ind. Bill Targeting Farm Trespassers Up for Vote

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): An Indiana Senate committee will soon vote on a bill that would crack down on farm trespassers. The bill aims to protect farmers from unwanted guests looking to hurt their business, such as by snapping unflattering photos or sharing trade secrets. A similar bill failed last session. Animal-rights activists are concerned the bill also could discourage whistleblowers from reporting animal cruelty on farms.
