INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Indiana's Republican Senate leader is calling for an annual review of the state's school grading system after revelations that former school Superintendent Tony Bennett's staff changed the formula so a top Republican donor's school received an “A.''
 
  Senate President Pro Tem David Long told The Associated Press Tuesday the public needs to have confidence that the “A-F'' grades are “fair and impartial.'' He says that will require an annual outside audit of the grading formula.
 
  Emails obtained by The Associated Press showed Bennett's frantic scramble last September to overhaul the grading system after it became apparent an Indianapolis charter school started by GOP donor Christel DeHaan would receive a “C.''
 
  Bennett says the changes to the formula were about more than just one school. He is now Florida's education commissioner.
