Indiana BMV Issuing Credit Back to Hoosiers

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WOWO): The Indiana BMV will now issue credit to Hoosiers they overcharged. This comes after an investigation into the agency and a lawsuit saying they charged too much for driver's licenses. BMV Commissioner R. Scott Waddell said today in a statement that the agency will “immediately” credit motorists' accounts with the department for the amount they were overcharged. The lawsuit alleges that Indiana collected up to 30 million dollars more than it should have by overcharging drivers.
