Indianapolis Police Suspend Search for Missing 3-Month-Old

INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Indianapolis police have suspended a search for a 3-month-old girl reported missing from a home in the city.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Officer Chris Wilburn says police suspended the search for Janna Rivera shortly before 4 p.m. Friday after searching a four-square-mile area using helicopters, dogs and foot patrols. Indianapolis Fire Department divers searched two retention ponds in the neighborhood.

Police say the girl's mother called 911 to report her child was missing about 11 a.m. Friday. The mother told police her boyfriend was the last one seen with the infant. Police questioned the mother and the boyfriend.
