Indiana’s Paul George Joins Gatorade Team

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) _ Paul George has a splashy new job, endorsing Gatorade.

On Friday, the company will introduce Indiana's emerging star as its newest spokesman with an ad titled “Slam.'' In the video, George spins away from an opponent, takes off from the foul line and dunks the ball with the sports drink streaming off him the whole way.

For George, the timing couldn't be better. On Wednesday, he had two big dunks in late rally and finished with 23 points as the Pacers defeated two-time defending NBA champion Miami 84-83 at home.

Last season, George was named the NBA's Most Improved Player. He was 11th in the NBA in scoring entering Wednesday night and has the Pacers in position to get the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
