INDIANAPOLIS (AP): Officials at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis say campus can return to normal activities after they issued a take-shelter order when an armed robbery was reported.

IUPUI officials issued the emergency order late Thursday, telling those on campus via social media that they should “take safe shelter in the nearest available room” and remain indoors. Officials say the robbery happened at a nearby Starbucks. Police set up a perimeter and searched the area.

About an hour later, early Friday, police said that campus could return to normal activities.

Officials say the suspect wasn’t found and they urged those on campus to take caution as they moved around campus Friday.
