FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): Republican Lana Keesling will run against Democrat Angie Davis for the position of Fort Wayne City Clerk.

According to the Journal Gazette, Keesling has a chance at the position as a member of the GOP with 64 percent of the votes Tuesday night, claiming victory over fellow Republican Derek Pillie.

Keesling will run against Davis this November.

Election officials hoped for 25 percent voter turnout at the primaries, but the numbers came in at just under 10-percent.
