FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): As of 7:00 a.m., Thursday, leaf collection crews will move into the central party of Fort Wayne.

Leaf collection was originally slated to begin in the central part of the City next Monday, but crews are ahead of schedule with only a few north side neighborhoods to be completed.

Several neighborhoods in the central part of the city have already placed their leaves at the curb and crews will pick those up earlier that anticipated, but the neighborhoods will be revisited beginning Monday, as originally scheduled.
