Local Man Facing Federal Charges

The Feds are now getting involved in the case of an accused local felon.

Twenty-two year old Travon Russell has now been charged with possession of a firearm and maintaining a drug-involved premises, both felonies. 

According to the News-Sentinel, Russell was arrested in December following a joint Fort Wayne Police and ATF investigation.  At that time, he was found with a large quantity of marijuana and a number of handguns.  

Last week, Russell taken into custody after he failed to appear in court. During last weeks arrest he was found in possession of a a crystal narcotic.
