Fort Wayne Officer to Stand Trial on Rape Charges

A Fort Wayne Police Officer accused of rape will go to trial in April.

Mark Rogers will to go court on four felony charges, including sexual misconduct and two counts of rape. According to court documents, Rogers forced a woman to have sex with him after an alcohol arrest last fall. The incident allegedly happened at a city park, after the woman finished a blood test.

The case is scheduled to start April 15 in Allen Superior Court. Judge Fran Gull will handle the case. He's been on leave since the charges were filed.
