Man Convicted for Attempted Murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WOWO): An Allen County man was found guilty of attempted murder in the stabbing of a woman he lived with.

Forty-four year old Harry White II could be sentenced to more than 20 years in prison when he's sentenced next month. White admitted he strangled, stabbled and stole the woman's car.

According to Allen Superior Court documents, in June, White attacked the woman in the home because he was angry after she didn't drive him to work the week before.

White was convicted of attempted murder, intimidation, auto theft, strangulation and interference in the reporting of a crime.
